IN AND AROUND DURNESS

The village of Durness is a little hidden gem in the North West of the highlands. Sitting half way along the NC500 route, it's the perfect place to spend a few days exploring the crystal clear waters and perfect white sandy beaches associated with the North Coast.

Why not spend a day or two in the area and climb Ben Hope, Ben Loyal or any one of the many incredible hills and mountains in the area.

Smoo Cave is a delight and always worth a visit as Britain's largest limestone cave. The spectacular waterfall running through the cavern is free to view and the extensive inner chamber is accessible by boat.
